Vivienne Family
The 2024 Collection continues the longstanding collaboration between the house of Minotti and the GamFratesi partnership. Here we see the blending of effortless Italian style and craftsmanship with scandi-cool in innovative, yet classic, forms.
Equally at home in residential or hospitality contexts, the Vivienne Family serves to invite us to sit, speak and relax.
A design language defined by rounded contours, contrasted with a sculptural solidity creates an atmosphere at once welcoming and striking. Soft upholstery is seemingly suspended on cool chrome, bringing a luxurious, floating feeling.
Sculptural Expression
The interplay between comfort and aesthetics plays out in the Vivienne family’s use of various volumes and overlaps. The effect is one which is both aesthetically fascinating and eminently comfortable.
Clever ergonomic elements, such as the repeated hemicircular backrests and curved arms are disguised as sculptural elements. Likewise, the architectural elements, such as the sophisticated metal swivel base, bring this statuesque sensibility a reassuring practicality.
The refined proportions further enhance the effect, loaning a solidity to the otherwise apparently floating seats. The overall result is a family of seats which are concurrently aesthetically stunning and eminently comfortable, encouraging conversation.

Contemporary Allure
While clearly wearing their classically grounded inspirations- there are notes of the 1970s- the overall effect is utterly modern. This contemporary allure, tempered by considered classical proportions, allows the Vivienne family to sit comfortably as part of any collection.
While most certainly striking and sculptural in aesthetic impact, the inherent softness brought by the contemporary curves does not overpower. Instead, the welcoming undulations created by the curved proportions serve to highlight the charms of their compatriots.
